| RYA ICC Flotilla Training Course | | Course Outline | This new 5 day course is ideal for beginners who want some experience before going on a flotilla holiday. You’ll be taught personal safety, navigation as well as use of GPS plus yacht handling skills required to join a flotilla. The ICC* (International Certificate of Competence) is essential should you wish to charter in the Mediterranean.
*The ICC qualification can only be issued to British residents.

| RYA Day Skipper Course | | Course Outline | The RYA Day Skipper intermediate course covers all aspects of skippering a modern cruising yacht, including boat handling, navigation, pilotage and seamanship skills.
This certificate is necessary should you wish to charter a yacht in the UK or abroad.

| Day Skipper Module | | Course Outline | This 2 week course is a time effective way to gain your RYA Competent Crew and RYA Day Skipper shore-based and practical qualifications. Starting with the five day Competent Crew practical course you will learn the sailing basics and how to be an efficient crew member. This is followed by four days of theory in the classroom, introducing chartwork, navigation, safety and seamanship. This is where you learn the knowledge to make decisions on board. The module ends with the five day RYA Day Skipper practical course which is your first step towards skippering either your own or a charter yacht.
